SPAMMING GRENADES LIKE IT'S NOTHING.

If someone who has the power to nerf weapons sees this please for the love of everything that is holy in this world nerf the grenades in Halo 4. In Halo 3 if you were near a frag grenade when it went off it would take your shields about 2/3 of the way down which made them balanced and you really had to time when you wanted to throw your great balls of fire at your enemy, but starting in Reach and carrying over into Halo 4 in you’re near a frag when it goes off it drops your shields completely leaving you powerless to what comes out of your opponents weapon. This is not only annoying and infuriating, but it also motivates the nice people playing Halo to spam the hell out of their left trigger.
Grenades never bothered me until Halo Reach and effort was put forth in Halo 4 to balance nades because you can’t pick grenades up of of dead players, but it was someones bright Idea to include perks in a game that isn’t Call of Duty and one of those infernal perks is for picking up grenades which defeats the purpose of not being able to pick them up, and there’s another one for improving the blast radius of the nades you through which just makes them even more over powered. Why take tedious measures to prevent grenade spamming when you have a perk that lets you pick up more grenades to spam like in Halo Reach? It’s stupid and a waste of a developers time which they could of used to include dual wielding in a game which is better with duel wielding.
Instead of doing all of these things that make the game play like -Yoink- why not just nerf the grenades so they act like they did in Halo 3, and get rid of custom loadouts to balance the game in the sense that everyone starts with the same advantage, get rid of perks and ordnance because they belong in Call of Duty. In fact just make the game play like Halo 3 because Halo 4 plays like garbage and is it’s offensive to call it a Halo title.

I agree with everything, and I especially loved the “remake Halo 3 option” (which I picked).

Frag nades are too strong to try and compensate for the speed of the Spartans and sprint, but IMO they are far too strong while plasma grenades are too underpowered. My friend likes to call frags “mini-nukes” because if you are anywhere remotely near them they take your shields down instantaneously.

The grenades are totally fine in my opinion, so I disagree. The grenades in Halo 3 can destroy your whole shield too (I got Grenade+Headshot killed often enough).

The only change is that the blast radius is a bit bigger, and I guess that’s why they put in the grenade indicator.

If you hate them, play something else.

Because this sounds like another rage-‘nerf that’-thread because you got killed by something too much recently.

I don’t see anything wrong with it.

Only thing I DO see wrong is dumb players that throw grenades at point blank with frags and people with pulse and plasmas missing at that range as well.

Sword base made sense though. People always camped in small rooms so they was flushing them out.

Running around tossing grenades willy nilly when you could kill them one on one is stupid.

I don’t know if the weapon-tuning system can be used to adjust grenades, but I don’t see any harm in suggesting this at the Weapons Feedback thread. :slight_smile:
