There should be space combat multiplayer in halo 6. Reach’s space combat is by far I considered the best example of how space combat should work in halo in both sp and mp. For multiplayer, my idea would be this:
- Both teams start as fighters that can be chosen from existing ones in the universe (UNSC: Sabre, Longsword, Broadsword, Pelican; Covenant: Space Banshee, Seraph, Phantom) each with different attributes and loadouts.
- Gameplay will work like reach’s in terms of fighter controls
- Players would eventually spawn their own customizable ship(class and whatever name they decided to use) and control when they require enough kills or something else. However, there would be a limit on number of ships per team.
- There would be ai and you can board ships.
- Destroy ships by disabling engines, turrets, and other important structures
- 5 maps taking place during important events (harvest campaign, fall of reach, battle of earth, battle of the ark, requiem campaign) and 1 Infinity assault map like that forge map. Some maps would have stations and platforms present.
Pretty much it’s Halo Reach space combat and SW:BF with ship combat. Share your thoughts on the topic and if you want it, post your ideas (no forging, I’m talking about dev-made mode).
