Pretty simple question, if there was a DLC costing 800 MS points for a few space combat maps like in Reach, would you buy it? No brainer for me, I’d be all over that. What are your thoughts?
EDIT: Re-read that, by “space combat maps like in Reach” I meant multiplayer spaceship battles like on Long Night of Solace, not just space-themed maps. Sorry.
better yet. What if one or 2 of the spartan ops missions end up being a space combat mission in the longsword/shortsword/similar fighter? I believe this would satisfy your needs just as well.

The answer is a definite yes yes yes, oh and did I mention YES?!
thanks for the Edit. but either way, I say yes. I like space combat on Reach’s Multiplayer maps (not Zealot’s), it adds uniqueness and variety. I can highly expect a space combat in Forged maps because of the Player Trait Zones (thanks 343i!). as for combat like the Sabres, I highly believe a mission will happen like that eventually for Spartan Ops.

So your talking Team Slayer but in Sabres?
If so, yes I would buy it only because I would like to see how it works and if it actually works. I would however not exactly like to see 343i take any direction with Multiplayer like this even if it was a one off.
I intend and always have bought all Halo DLC just because I’m a big Halo fan.
No. If I wanted a combat flight sim there’s many different games that do it better I could buy, probably for the same price too, considering the genre’s popularity.
Plus this is probably the only genre of games that I prefer to play on PC anyway.
