Do you guys believe space battles will be coming?

What are your thoughts? Any hints to indicate this?

It could be possible. Games like Homeworld have had modders make total conversion mods, for example ‘Homefront’ was a great mod for Halo on Homeworld and that was done by modders. So space battles could make an entrance but i wouldn’t get your hopes up. Knowing CA they might but i also see them focusing greatly on land aspects so we’ll see.
I wonder if this RTS will feature a level where you control the frigate + army of Pelicans/swords vs a covenant fleet. Play cat and mouse to sneak up and escape or kill.

That would be such a sick gametype! Now, whether or not 343i/Creative Assembly are willing to not only make the standard RTS, but also a whole new RTS version just in space.

mac orbital platforms. forerunner gravity wells . HIGH CHARITY ? that would be a hell of awesome. But space battles would mean post halo 3 cos before that human ships did not have shield and were consequently useless
I would LOVE space battles but for some reason I doubt we’ll see them.

Hmmmm. Instinctively I want to say yes. But I’m just not sure how well that would work from an RTS standpoint. But hey if they can pull it off than by all means they should
The Total War series has had naval battles in some of its games. Definitely possible for some sort of space battle component to be there. Halo Fleet battles is a board game that takes place before Halo 3 and I hear that’s a fun game for both Covenant and UNSC. It would be awesome to command an assortment of ships from all across the Halo Universe. High charity covenant, High Charity flood, Infinity, the list goes on.
