I don’t know if this has been said, but a space map would be awesome, no entirely on space no, in a map where you can get out into space and you won’t die, would make for some interesting grifball and such.
EDIT: Anchor 9 was just a tiny amount of space people, I mean BIG, open environments of space.
Anchor 9 isn’t real fun in space. I mean, it would be more fun if there was a big base on some random planet where we could go outside. Once outside you can jump and go slow-motion as if you were on the moon.
Anchor 9 was terrible, Condemmed was better. But we still need a large map set in space and the inside of perhaps a spaceship or space station.
Perhaps in Halo 4 you could have a multiplayer or firefight level set in the debris of Forward Unto Dawn or perhaps on the ship Infinity.
This is something i would love to see!
I think that could be fun. On a moon type surface with really low gravity where you’re not in complete control when you jump. Or a complete zero grav environment and just thrusters. Not jet packs kids. Thrusters. They just nudge you in the direction you want to go.
Most of a map like this should widely space environment. Im talking like small base sized stations for each team and the rest is mostly in the vacuum. And maybe a little inspiration from Star Wars Battlefront II,as many have suggested, and have space fighter combat, much like the space mission in Reach but bigger, and of course with canonical connections to the story…
Bungie touched lightly on this in Reach,so we should expand on it in Halo 4.
You know what they say;Innovation is the future…or in some cases, its downfall.
if any of you remember star wars battle front 2 i believe, there was a space map could easily fit into halo universe a covenant and human ship with banshees and falcons maybe a streem of asteroids or meteors flowing inbetween them that you can jet pack to for ur zero gravity needs and provide cover for non vehicle savy players
