Sounds like they are not planning on going dark again i really don’t want another awful content drought again

Keep in mind that 343 is being muffled by MS.
They’ve probably been champing at the bit to get more stuff out to the fans.
We just have to wait for MS and Sony to finish their peeing contest over which console is going to unveil first.
They were initially going to release some more Halo Infinite footage this month (possibly multiplayer footage). However I doubt that is happening now. So yes they will be going dark in part. I highly doubt we will get any more gameplay footage of either the campaign or multiplayer of Halo: Infinite anytime soon now…

I was kind of hoping that the MP was still on track. Phil did say they considered releasing Infinite in parts… so some aspects are definitely further along then others.
Ergo I had my fingers crossed that they could use a MP flight / beta to buff the launch of the Xbox Series X.
If there is nothing at the end of the month (Gamescon), then it’s going to be a dark spring (slash autumn).
So far it really feels like they’re keeping details close to their chest and I doubt that’ll improve much after the negative reaction to the demo. But I hope you’re right, OP

By 343 being more transparent with fans since the announcement of the delay, they should be open with people to help understand why exactly the delay is happening and also when we can expect the actual release to happen.
Seems strange to claim this since they’ve mentioned nothing about when more information will be revealed except a vague “we’ll share more when ready”.

My thoughts the same.
I don’t think we will see any more info until 2021, which sucks as we were so close to seeing much more. MCC is getting updates throughout this year so hopefully that keeps me busy til then.
It’s best not to pester them and let them reveal when they are ready cause that will prevent further divide between the devs and community.

Why do you guys believe 343? They have nothing to show us. The game is in development Hell.
If you don’t believe me just go watch Brad Sams latest video about the state of 343 and infinite.
He is one of the most trusted & well established Microsoft insiders.

I saw that too sounds like they bit off more than they can chew making a brand new engine on top of a new game that’s daunting in of itself
I’d keep my expectations low. I wouldn’t expect anything until the end of the year. “Soon” is never soon when 343i says it. Apparently they have a lot to work on so I wouldn’t expect anything unless it’s concept art
