I hate the popping death sound. No matter what weapon killed you this sound will play even if it means cancelling out the sound that shot you. Often I’ll get killed by rockets and not know what I died to because the rocket firing sound never played and the stupid death sound makes it seem like I got meleed. It’s incredibly frustrating and too ambiguous. I don’t see why my spartan can’t just yell or something. I hate this sound and it makes me jump when I’m sniped. When you die, the camera often does not rotate to show you who killed you so you’re just left guessing what happened.

I actually agree with this. It has become this trend in FPS games to have that loud thump sound whenever you’re hit. It’s atrocious and actually gets in the way of immersion.

I agree here 1000%. I’m baffled as to how something like this even makes it into a game of this caliber. Are you really trying to tell me that no one at 343 noticed that the same rediculous thud sounds happens no matter how or with what your killed by. Come on this is unacceptable pure laziness. There’s no way someone didn’t bring this up. This is one of the most annoying things about infinite for me. The same sound no matter what?? Mind blowing just utterly mind blowing.
