Sound issues? Specifically with OG Halo 2

I have sound issues with Halo 2 regardless of if I am using a headset or TV sound. It gets super choppy and cuts out when more than one gun is firing. Anyone else have this annoying issue? I hope it doesn’t carry over to the pc port.

I’ve been having the same issue with Halo 2 MCC.
The cutscenes are fine,
The pause menu is fine,
But in game there is no audio.
