Sound from the gameplay reveal

Recently 343 talked about the improved audio and sound for Halo infinite. But after re watching the gameplay demo, I couldn’t notice it.

Did 343 add in better audio system over these past few months? Or did I just miss it in the gameplay demo?

what in particular? as I’m sure if I remember correctly they did state that they gone back and fourth with a lot of things that have happened since the Demo had dropped

They are polishing currently. This includes going back and improving sounds and adding complexity to things they originally did not have time for. They did not share any noise outside of the frequencies via blog post I believe.

The gameplay demo itself hasn’t been updated but those game sections have had some attention before final release

I’m not sure if any of the advanced audio systems they have mentioned were implemented yet when they shared that demo. That said, I felt like the cinematic sound design was really pretty lacking and I’m hoping its not reflective of the final product. Sadly, the lead sound designer has mentioned that while they have polished some things, not to expect anything drastically different in the final product. Man that Pelican Crash is really, really weak. There aren’t enough layers of sound, the mix is atrocious, and none of it gives the sense that you are crashing in a dropship. I hope that’s the first dropship crash of the game… but I suspect it might not be.

The Assault Rifle needs to be louder and meatier.
