While playing the second episode chapters the sound suddenly cut out. I restarted my game and it fixed the issue for a few minutes but then the sound cut out again. After it cuts out, no other game types will play sound either but if I restart the game and do anything else, it works perfectly again so it only seems to affect Spartan Ops. Anyone know something I could try? Thanks in advance.

I restarted my console (in settings) to resolve another issue and it stopped muting when I pause in Spartan Ops. Worth trying…
I’m having the same issues here. I did a hard reset of my console since Halo 3 wasn’t working, but I haven’t had the chance to see if that fixed Spartan Ops as well.
Give it a shot and report back.
Yup, there seems to be audio issue with Halo 4 in general. I guess they are not exactly at the top of the list for 343i to fix but it still should get fixed.

I have been playing through halo mc collection with my 12 yr old daughter (who’s getting pretty good lol). We are currently in the Spartan Ops co-op, legendary, b-dat skull activated. While playing the second chapter, if the game is paused for any reason, the sound drops out and makes the game virtually unplayable and beyond frustrating to not have any sound clues to what is going on around you.
