Why is it only Alpha Zombies? What happened to Save One Bullet? Or Infection? Or Speed Demons? Living Dead is so stale.
Why do zombies appear on the human’s motion trackers all the time? This completely ruins a zombie trying to be sneaky.

bungie was lazy and forgot about infection and invasion. let’s hope 343 doesn’t make the same mistakes

Hopefully this is fixed in Halo 4. There is a strong lack of Invasion maps and variety in Living Dead.
Yes, yes, yes, all it really needs is some custom or community maps to make it good.
now what needs to be fixed when you kill a zombie they shouldnt keep swing in halo 3 it never did this my kd has been hurting

I agree if shotgun beats sword then why do I die after I shoot them in the face?

Because you don’t shoot quickly enough.
Before anyone accuses me of being a smartass, allow me to back up my statement. Shotgun kill range on an unshielded target is inconsistent, but a single well-aimed blast will kill a target at roughly 3.1 world units. (1wu = 10’.) The Energy Sword, on the other hand, cannot initiate a sword lunge on a target more than 2.2wu away.
In head-to-head frontal combat, you automatically have a nine-foot advantage on every Zombie. You can kill them before they’re even able to try and hit you, if you react fast enough.
Why does it bore you? When you’re a zombie the POINT is to be underpowed. That’s why it’s a reward to kill. Eventually it’s probably gonna happen. It’s not often that someone manages to actually win a round as a human. Also, the best way to easily kill someone is to go in hordes as a zombie. I always play with 1-3 friends and so if someone’s hard to kill, we both rush at same time, and soon enough we get them.
I really dislike playing Infection anymore because all the Humans do is camp and most of the time they are not even good to begin with so of course they would find it necessary to camp.
I spend a lot of my games killing all the humans that try to hid down the tunnel in Swordbase, or on top of the starting structure on the cage.
I on several occasions as well as with my friend end up getting around -10 in one round them come back when were the only ones left with the top score. I do not kill the humans and steal there camping spots I walk around the board and kill the zombies when I see them. Also I have experience several games where I did not camp and have either gotten close to or have outlasted the time limit as a human.
The main issue with this playlist is that the players almost never want to be a zombie and when your only a zombie for one of the three rounds it can be upsetting and most of the time unless you are playing with a friend you never have any real team work while being a zombie.

That fact the humans can ALWAYS see you is Yoink!. You’re forced to run in and die over, and over, and over again. What happened to being stealthy? Remember zombies in Halo 3? As a zombie you could sneak up on the humans or hide above in a high spot it was FUN remember fun? It also made it scary as a human which was the whole point of zombies.
While I agree that some infection based maps would be nice, I don’t see how you are against camping in this playlist. Zombies is all about camping to survive- otherwise we’ll have games like the current asylum where the only humans to suvive past 3 minutes are those who are hiding.
Oops double post.

Okay allow me to reiterate, by camp I do not mean just stand in one random spot or in some silly corner. I mean finding some horrendous space like in Swordbase where it is impossible for zombies to get you unless you act idiotically by standing the near the end.
I mean I have had games where I am a Zombie every round and that pretty much makes it impossible to win because all my Zombie friends decide to just jump at the opponents so even if I get every human kill every round I still probably will not win especially against super campers.

Yes. People feel like being a Zombie is a punishment, because it is frustrating and unfair. It shouldn’t be, but it is, because the playlist is just poorly-executed.

So by “camping” you mean abusing a problem in the map’s design or construction, rather than merely holding and defending a location.
'Kay.
To DavidJCobb
I love being a Zombie and if me and my friend play and we are both Zombies we destroy the humans. Issue being it is just that we probably will not win but half the time we don’t care.
Yeah people do not realize that you start with twice as many humans as zombies if you walked around in pairs you would probably never die assuming that you do not suck.
I just do not get why people thing they need to camp in some ridiculous place in order to win it is rather upsetting. But I guess that is why I win most of my games when I try to win and do not end up as a zombie every round.
There are games where I just screw around and will kill all the campers on my team that hide in stupid places then just walk around killing all the zombies, I usually have like a negative ten or so by the time the humans stop hiding down the stupid tube or what not and I usually will end up in first at the end of the round with around 15 or so. And rinse repeat every round.

Soon, hopefully. Among the changes you mentioned, I want to see some new maps designed for Living Dead replace the current ones, which are rife with camping spots, and aren’t remotely creepy to play on.
Speed Demons, Creeping Rockets, and the other “novelty” gametypes should remain in the dustbin where they belong.
That said, I, too, am very much interested in what 343 plans on doing with Living Dead. Jeremiah improved it significantly from its launch, but it still has a long way to go.

Most definitely. It’s my understanding that one of the Community Cartographers has set up a nice way to submit maps for consideration for Living Dead, but I don’t know if they’re still maintaining at as I’ve not seen official word that the CC system will be kept.

Why?

They completely screwed over one team or the other. Completely. Creeping Hammers/Rockets, for example, was nothing more than a race to get infected so you could get more kills.
They were as bad as Reach’s Living Dead is now, actually. But since they were “novelty” gametypes, they were held to a different standard and nobody complained. (Much like how you wouldn’t compare a fingerpainting by a five-year-old to, say, the Mona Lisa.)
