I must say a heartfelt apology to anyone who gets match made on my team.
I may seem to be foolhardily running at enemies trying to melee even when it seems inappropriate, or hiding in a corner rather than shooting, but I am afraid anyone who is on my team will likely lose a lot. It is not that I am a terrible player, just that my bullets do no damage to the enemy 90% of the time. The only damage I can inflict is by melee or grenade and even then my melee passes straight through without inflicting damage more often than not. I used to love this game, and I try, I really do, but I can only seem to get games against players in the US, and the lag is crippling even with focused search active.
Firefight is bearable, but I just cannot compete with 1 to 2 seconds of lag. I lose gunfights even if the enemy has their back to me, not because I am not aiming point blank at their back but because the damage does not register. I cannot remember the last time I got an execution, I regularly get shot through walls, and I have suffered numerous deaths within a second of spawning, with the enemy laughing at me for just standing there when my screen shows me a countdown timer to respawn.
So I am sorry to anyone on my team for making you lose, 343 I know you can fix this, and if not I implore you to allow us to search EU servers only.
Your game used to be so much fun before region lock was removed, before lag dominated every game I find. I would love to play more and recommend Halo to friends but in it’s current state, none of my EU friends will play Halo as it means suffering loss after loss which is just soul destroying when it was an experience that we used to love.
