SORRY, Halo Infinite is not for Xbox players

I played the Technical Preview on both PC and Xbox One X. I have been playing on a Series X since November 15th.

Same. When Halo 5 Forge came out on PC, I tried it out with mouse and keyboard, and I didn’t do too well. Then I switched to a controller and absolutely wrecked people (not because I’m really good, but rather because I knew the game well, whereas many of the other PC players were new to Halo 5, so I had a big advantage with knowledge of the maps and weapon behaviors).

Also, for Titanfall 2 on PC, I also play with an Xbox controller because I simply play much better that way, and when it comes to Titanfall 2, I am much better than average as compared to my Halo performance.

First yes give us option to turn crossplay off . But not because pc is better clearly everyone knows controller is better by long shot but because pc users r modders and hackers and cheaters. second yes ill take assisted aim lol make an already easy gun fight make it easier booyah lol increase xp gains to. and give us more armor less damage yes lol. True comment here .lol bfr

This is the first thread I’ve ever seen saying aom assist was not Good. Every one keeps saying it’s too strong. Lol

I’ve been playing on controller series x and it’s amazing.

I feel like you’re just throwing out random stuff without validity my man.

The experience on the Series X is wildly different than it is on the Xbox One or Xbox One S. That is not to invalidate your feedback, but it is to reinforce the concerns raised by those who are struggling on the Xbox One console. The arguments are not without merit.

It is not random. Halo Infinite multiplayer on the Series X is a whole other experience. Those of us playing on the Xbox One have a much harder time, especially with the framerate capped at 30 FPS and the aiming being the way it is, currently.

I’m fairly sure that crossplay will be optional in the final release.

You’re proud of that one achievement? My man I’ve gone 25 and 6 on Big team, while getting jumped wave after wave of a team flocking to one side. Your point? Just started ranked yesterday, gotten double, triple and overkills.

Youre own personal stats does not change the fact this game has issues. A friend a mine went into ranked and scored 30 kills multiple times. And he said Infinite is not it and doesn’t feel like Halo and would rather go back to Destiny. I love this rebuttal you attempted cause it’s been that way since Reach and 4. " Oh you must suck since you complain about this and this" yeah ok cause you know my service record right? Right.

I’d go even farther and say the multiplayer isn’t for Casual Gamers even. I’m not a multiplayer person. I really suck at it, but I like Halo. And these challenges are crazy. I can’t get 5 kills with the sword. Heck I’ve only seen the sword 3 times all week and that’s when I was killed with it.
Also luck is required. Luck that the right game type is chosen. Luck that the right vehicle or weapon spawns. Luck that you can even get it. Then being able to do with it what’s needed for the challenge. And if you suck at multiplayer or are just casual, good luck with that too.
On top of that add FOMO for customization items in the weekly challenges. They made progression worse on the daily challenges, unless you play over 25 games a day, then it gets better.
Plus the monetizing with customization is crazy.
1 of these things is bad but all of it together is outrageous.

I would rather have payed for multiplayer and still payed for a battlepass, with easier challenges of course, then this model.

Its pretty clear 343 is getting bad advice, and only listening to competitive players. They’ve stopped trying to make a game that the masses enjoy, and are trying to build a pro scene. They just dont realize you needepeople to enjoy the game to watch .

They had this similar issue with Halo 5. I remember watching a video where they were consulting with pro players for Halo 5, and it was clear what direction they were trying to take Halo.

Worry about building a great game people enjoy, and want to play and then focus on pro as secondary.

Right aim assist is too strong atm, I’m in controller and it’s almost impossible to miss once your radical is red

I’m on pc, I play with a controller and can still rank top of the leaderboard. I’m no expert Halo player, I’m just a regular casual player. Even in ranked I can hold my own with controller on MIXED input matches.

there is 100% aim assist on controller, literally use KBM and controller back to back in the same match lmao

I agree that the game does feel like it caters more so to the pc platform more than it ever has in any other halo title before it but i dont think its terribly bad. But it is definetly noticeable. Like aim assist feels really bad in this game compared to the MCC. Im sure they scaled it down because most PC players complain that aim assist is usually too strong. However i think it should be tweaked jusy a tad bit. I noticed that when i play its way harder to stay on track with targets compared to any of the older halo titles.

I think console / controller does have aim assist - it seems to vary across weapons with console. Doing training mode with play fighting enabled with Spartan bots jumping everywhere there is some definite reticle magnetism with certain weapons in particular - possibly the bulldog, hydra, sentinel beam, etc. It’s not as noticeable on the precision weapons.

You can turn off Crossplay in the Xbox Settings . What called it in english? Data secure? Playing games with other systems except xbox , its on on my xbox, but you can turn it off

The incredibly weak aim assist on console has me close to dropping the game. The skill gap in just AIMMING is way too high compared to previous games.

100% agree, although most ppl on this forum are bias. After H3, the Halo series has slowly declined in quality. It’s all just opinion based but we will see how much the fan base leaves after the initial release on Dec 8th.

Where is it then? Cause if it’s there, it’s HIGHLY inconsistent as well as being slow low that it’s nearly non-existent. Like I said before, if this wasn’t an issue, the forums wouldn’t have been flooded with it, YouTubers wouldn’t be talking about it and this wouldve been fixed by the last flight.

Yall really complain without actually feeling out the experience of the other platforms. At least you should know that controller is better with aim assist since Halo MCC.
