The closest thing to “cheating” on consoles are hardware that lets you use a KBM while emulating a controller input which is whatever to me. I know plenty of people that use them and are still terrible at the games they play because they have no map awareness or any game sense in general. Its for sure an advantage, but hardly something most people would even notice, unlike legitimate hacking on PC where players can literally see where the enemy is at through walls and auto lock onto headshots.
but is it not also that concole players can get a concole bann what is so worse for then since its only cost then more money to buy then a new concole so that means that cheating on concole’s is almost impossible to do since there need to spent more money on a new concole and maybe also need a new account to play and to buy new membership to play online.
this discussion about crossplay in halo infinite has been done all in the old forum and a lot off people told there all there not wane play with pc players online since there is a high risk off cheating with then.

It feels pretty clear that you have no idea what you’re talking about. It is objectively false to say controller has no aim assist and that PC players have a huge advantage in this game. The literal exact opposite is true.
Did you get dropped on your head as a kid? 99% of the pc player base is using a controller because of how much better it is. Literal pro mouse and keyboard players have switched to controller just to compete in tournaments. Go 2 hours on mouse and keyboard and then come tell me how much better pc is Lmfao. As for the visuals or higher frames. The Xbox series x has comparable stats to the 2080ti, can run 120 fps, has fov slider. So ya saying pc has an advantage is just complete bs my guy.
This is just pure ignorance. MKB is horrible on PC. Im a high level player with MKB in other games like CS, Apex, Splitgate – mkb is borderline unplayable. I struggled to get to onyx the first month game came out. Switched to controller and now I am 1815. And while I am ranked higher, and I dont want to pull my hair out every other game I wish I was playing on mouse and key… I just cant. And I am not the only one. literally 90% of my discord (who didnt quit all together) who natively use mouse and keyboard have switched to controller. It’s not even remotely close to being balanced. This isnt CS or COD, you cant just swipe 90 degrees and instantly kill someone. You have to track and lead all of your shots on a target that is strafing so fast its impossible to predict without either having Aim assist or having foresight. The input balance is not even close, heavily favors controller. I see these complaints all the time. Funny thing is people on PC have used BOTH mouse and keyboard, CONTROLLER is the input that is broken. You can literally strafe back and forth with little to no input on the right stick and perfect people back to back LOL. You see one clip of someone swiping and getting a couple no scopes on Youtube and forever blame Mouse and Keyboard any time you die. At this point in time, with the game being out over 2 months I would be surprised if even 15% of players in Onyx crossplay are using MKB. Theres simply no reason to, you’re only handicapping yourself and your team mates.
Idk what you are talking about. I have played on console and on PC. With controller and MKB (which is completely outclassed by controller). With a controller, you can literally strafe back and forth and spam right trigger with little to no input on the right stick and 4 shot with the BR. Everyone on console who is saying their is no aim assist has either become so used to it the don’t perceive it or are just flat out lying to spark controversy. It literally does 75% of the work for you. On mouse I am leaning forward 6 inches from my 8 inches from my screen using 90% of my concentration tracking targets on mouse and keyboard, its literally exhausting – its not fun at all. It makes Halo feel more like a chore than an escape. I switched to controller and Im leaning back in my chair smokin a cigarette and getting perfects back to back, all while making callouts to my team without even thinking about it. There literally aren’t any pro players that use mouse and keyboard, yet they’re all on PC? I get that most of the pro players are on controller because thats how they played previously halos, but if MKB were so easy and advantageous like you say – why is it not being used in HCS by anyone? Why did big twitch streamers who natively play on mouse and key switch to controller? Why did all of those streamers quit playing? Because keyboard and mouse sucks. Not only is it outclassed by controller and just generally not made for Halo, it inherently feels bad. The worst feeling FPS game with a mouse ive played in my 15 years of PC gaming
No there’s too much aim assist. Especially on the BR. It is so much easier to win gunfights on a controller unless you are far away, which almost never happens outside of BTB. You don’t even get a freaking red reticle on a PC. Also the game runs worse than it does even on high-end GPUs compared to a series X, so this game is absolutely not made with a priority on PC over consoles like the OP said.
He just wants to blame the “lack” of autoaim and the (non-existent) advantage m/kb users have like a lot of the salty players do.
