sorry but the crimson DLC is unforgivable

these maps are objectively mediocre, with a very generic art style. this is unforgivable for halo, especially DLC. not only that, but why are all of them big team maps on a game that desperately needs small maps? stop being -Yoink- idiots. i’m not paying for this garbage. step your game up 343.

I don’t think the crimson maps are that great either, but that does’nt mean I have rage about it or whatever. I just choose not to buy the maps.

Objectivity is impossible. I thought that be obvious by now.

I have my preferences, as do we all. However, i am also happy that i can find DLC maps outside of the DLC playlist too. Shattered isn’t so bad because unlike Rag, The Mantis isn’t this overpowering presence. CTF on Harvest seems to be very popular, don’t get to play on Wreckage that much.

This community is unforgivable. All 343i is trying do is try to please Halo fans. And who do you think you are? Your nothing on these forums but a recruit-iron. Many so called fans like you come around to often on these forums to post threads like these with no reason to why you feel that way.

I like them.

because if people just suck up to 343 despite the mistakes they won’t see what they are doing wrong. now, i like to think 343 is trying to be a lot like bungie in the sense that they listen to the community. a lot.

which is where my topic is coming from. i love halo 4, and i’m shocked at how good a first-time developer managed to make it. but this is just absolutely terrible. the fact that they expect me to pay for three more big team maps, which are all subpar is almost offensive to me. hell, wreckage is basically vortex with a few different nooks and crannies and a bright color palette.

i hope the sales of these maps plummet. you want good support? make good DLC.

You are crazy. Have you ever seen a girl naked? In real life, I mean? Maps aren’t that bad!

This is definitely the worst map pack in Halo’s history.

Hard to do that when you already bought them or have the LE.

Won’t be buying anymore thats for sure.

You make no sense what so ever. You love the game but don’t want the game to get better because you don’t like the DLC…just doesn’t make any sense.

The Halo: Reach map packs would like a word with you…

> This is definitely the worst map pack in Halo’s history.

You know, every Halo game has people saying this. I find it funny.

Let me guess, only a true Halo fan would agree right?

I love Crimson DLC. The fact that I get to choose through a variety of maps and modes is nice. I don’t know what your demands are but I’m quite pleased with the game and the map pack. Waiting for the next one.

I’ve had some of my most entertaining games on the DLC maps. Big team slayer on Wreckage is great, and the movement on Harvest feels great. I just wish that on Harvest teams could only spawn on their side of the map. If feels like Narrows again when you push far enough up just to have the enemy spawn behind you

My only problem with Wreckage is that Oddball is terrible (due to the size+throwing the ball) and the lightning really blinds you.

Harvest on 4v4 seems to focus on the dark side of the Warthog jump rocks while the rest of the map remains unused. It works for higher player counts like 6v6 no problem but 343 isn’t fooling anyone calling Harvest a small map.

Shattered works for the Mantis, unlike Ragnarok. Plus the combat on this map i like, the flow i suppose. Probably my favorite of the three.

I have to agree with you that memorable moments have come out of the Crimson map pack. A couple videos and a screenshot to be specific ;).

Firs bringing up someone’s forum rank shows a real lack of intelligence…lol. Second what fans are they trying to please? People have been begging for good 4v4 maps since Reach. All we have received is very very badly made maps that are to big. This DLC is no different. These maps are just plain garbage. They remind me of complex with different lighting.

I personally like the maps and have had some great times on them. But I have to disagree with the handling of the situation.

I feel that there should have been a push to get the 3 Dev. Forge maps into the Hopper. Before asking fans to she’ll out cash about a month after release.

I think this is what is leaving a sour taste to the situation.

Sorry bout the grammar, waypoint doesn’t like my droid.

It’s a matter of opinion. For example, I enjoy Wreckage and Shatter but not Harvest.

They are, at the least, decent maps. Wreckage was definitely a surprise as I expected that it would be the worst. Shatter is great, but would be better as an 8v8.

I personally love the maps, even though they are a bit bigger. They feel excellent to play on, and are something different from what we’re used to, yet still retain that classic Halo multiplayer map feel to them. I am extremely happy with my purchase of the Limted Edition that has given me access to these maps, and I look forward to future map packs!

I love the Crimson Map Pack. I played it all day when I first downloaded it, and still play it frequently. But, then again, haters will be haters. And haters like you belong in COD.
