Hi,
Since resetting my phone yesterday I’ve encountered a constant crash every time I open the Halo Channel app on my Lumia 640 LTE. The error says ‘Sorry About That: The data required to initialize Halo Channel could not be received. Please check your network connection and try again’.
However, my internet connection is fine - all other apps on my phone work fine, same with internet access to my XB1 and Surface. I’ve re-installed the app several times and this issue persists.

That is really strange. Is your phone software up to date?
I tried downloading it on my phone. I have an iPhone 6s and the software is up to date and I am receiving the same error message
Ok, I’ve been having the same problem and what I did to fix it was I went into my network and turned it off. Than use your (4G or 3G) to get into the halo channel. Once you’re in the halo channel and the error didn’t show up than click out and put it back into your wifi so that you don’t use all your data up and than just go back into the app. I hope that helps
