ASL has different syntax rules than English.

It is a beautiful touch to the game having the daughters names in the sky.
And I think its cool that there is a spartan company for deaf people. I learned ASL my first two years of high school, and the way he phrased that sentence makes sense if you were to sign it.

Because he learned words through seeing them not hearing them
He sees words as signs for meaning and does not process them the way we do.
