hello everyone. So recently I have endeavored to do a legendary gold guide for the original halowars since the second installment will be out kindof soonish.
SO. I am Completly, utterly, and thouroughly stuck on mission 4- Arcadia city. I read a thread on Reddit which APPARENTLY showed someone got it but only one blurry picture- no video. There are tips there and I have used them to create my own modified strategy that seemingly works well but no gold in at least 24 hours of attempts. PLEASE, I NEED your help on this!!! If Anyone, ANYONE here has gotten gold and remembers more or less exactly how PLEASE enlighten me. It’s going to go on YouTube when it’s done but I need your help to do it!!!
I managed it. I seem to remember it was super tough, and after a ridiculous amount of attempts I lucked out. I think I might have done it coop, it was a long time ago. I think that makes it easier.

Wow! You, sir, are awesome. I don’t have any friends though so I don’t know if co-op is an option for me
I’m debating just giving up knowing that it is all, indeed, luck based. I’ve been working on it for a solid week now and the highest I got was silver at around 45000. If I only got the other base then I would have got gold, I did the math.
ever since then though my combat efficiency has gone through the floor. It was around 9.8 On silver and has been around 5 all other times basically. I just don’t know how you can’t loose at least two hornets (making it fall below 9 something when at 40 pop) when those three banshee units rush the transport and you have to stop them before they get there otherwise it’s dead. The suicide ability makes it impossible I swear.

Also, do you still have the game and Xbox you got it with? I would be really interested to see a picture of your gold
This thread has just made me realise I’m going to have to do this all over again when the xbox one version of halo wars you get free with the limited edition of the sequel comes out. Not looking forward to it!
I’d try watching some youtube videos, if there are any. I imagine when the remaster comes out there’ll be a lot of people struggling to get this again, so there’ll probably be a lot of help available then.

Lmao yeah i feel yuh. I just finished it on legendary and now im just getting gold on all the missions and do the par time and get general then i got it all. But damn arcadia is the worst xD

I actually just completed it yesterday. And you don’t have to. One game is enough, I mean you can show people. Anyway I’ll be making THE gold guide. THE absolutely not casual guide to every mission gold on legendary. Yeah. It will be great
Funny things is I knew this thread was about Halo Wars the second I saw it. But lord Arcadia on legendary costed me a 360 controller and a part of my wall.
