Soooo mcc support…

Man I really hope 343 gives a real update to mcc soon, I don’t want mcc to become all about mods, console players need support for a lot of things still and I gotta be honest it’s really annoying to hear nothing for so long and no one can Deny 343i is one of the most silent companies when it comes to communication

Last communication on MCC was 8 days ago in this article:

Under the sub-heading ’ ANTECEDENT ANNIHILATION’

I mean, at this point in time, how can MCC make any money for 343? That is the purpose of any business. Just asking?

probably same could be said about infinite … no simply right now may be even not a tooo bad time to release a mcc update. updates always bring players back and a few new along the way ( since infinite got good press in the beginning there is a good chance some people buy mcc as of right now its not f2p ). there is also always the option of making some new cosemtic options paid , the new cosmetic content was very well recived and it dosent have the bad press infinite has right now. and finally a update is always good press and shows the fans that they still care for the legacy of halos best years. in my opinion halo mcc is the currently THE HALO EXPERIENCE . Why not keep two games at the same time alive , MCC is easier to work on then infinite and the community treats those as seperate experiences wich is also viewable in the population as mcc didnt suffer significant population drops due to the launch of infinite when going by steamplayers , and infinite isnt that far off mcc at least on pc , i know that on console infinite is a bit healthier.

there is also always the option of making some new cosemtic options paid , the new cosmetic content was very well recived and it dosent have the bad press infinite has right now.

The dev team confirmed this isn’t going to happen, and I would say a lot of the bad press Infinite received has to do with paid cosmetics. Nobody wants this for the MCC.

I wouldn’t mind DLC style skin packs with decent content tbh, but not microtransactions. Too much margin for overpricing.

I would absolutely pay a lot of money for some 2; Anniversary content. A DLC pack named after the classic Halo 2 one that adds the missing multiplayer maps with Anniversary campaign cosmetics added to the multiplayer would be incredibly fun.

I mean right now as in since November, 343 needs GOOD PR more than they need money. Updating MCC is GOOD PR. From 2019 to 2021 I’ve seen nothing but love for 343 from the majority of the community, as soon as Halo Infinite drops, back to the toxic hate for 343, however I feel the state Infinite is STILL in, semi-justifies the hate.

That’s because MCC’s content is actually newly designed armors mixed with some Halo Online armor and cut content, all of which is free and none of which is paywalled by some half-baked paid battlepass or garbage tier storefront.

Ok now for my own take on this, there is only ONE thing I wish for in future MCC updates, just one: The ability to turn off ALL barriers using custom game settings across every title of the MCC. Imagine the snipe fests in Blood Gulch with snipers along the top of the ridge, imagine running around the catwalks on Halo 3’s The Pit, or my personal favorite, imagine a “No limits” Forge World for Halo Reach. Underwater maps would become viable, players would be able to completely rediscover EVERY map on every Halo game, this one simple feature would bring custom games to the forefront like never before, maybe even get some new maps into matchmaking.

Yeah its getting to be time for a new content update for the game in some form. We have waiting since October 2021 for something (besides the exchange stuff in November-December) substantial of an update and its been too long now. Come on 343, you guys must be close to something ready by now!

I wouldn’t mind paying for a DLC pack with the rest of the Halo Online armors, they were the payed content in the game they were made for after all, and 343 doesn’t have to give them to us, though I hope they do, as long as they clean up the current elite armor models, and have a way to change the permanent blue lights like you could in online.

Honestly I don’t even care about cosemtics at this point, yes I’d like weapon skins for Reach, and yes I’d like the Season 8 body pieces for Reach as well, but I’d MUCH rather have the ability to remove barriers in Forge and have a massively increased private file limit instead. As a Forger it hurts me that MCC can’t support more than 50 stored maps FOR A TOTAL OF 4 DIFFERENT GAMES! It just annoys the heck out of me they didn’t update that when Reach launched!

I’d like some of the custom edition maps(like coldsnap) to come to MCC. Kinda like how Icebox was added.

I want a bit of both

Halo 3 Cosmetic things like Cleric and the Waist Armor fix for the Elite armor, the Mark VI and it’s permutations cleaned up using the Saber3D/H2A Campaign Mark VI as a base, the Fireteam Raven/CEA Mark V, the Busido Armor from H:O, etc.

but I also wanna see the raw content, like Reactor and Skybridge for Halo 3, the ODST Stationary Gauss Turret and H:O DMR added to 3’s Forge alongside full control over kill boundaries, Pitfall and other Halo 4 content like the Gravity Hammer or Storm Revenant ported over to H2A with a thorage clean up, Halo 2 Classic get the unknown Blastacular map restored with the Silenced SMG’s and Hitreg fixes, Reach get a Firefight clean up and Lone wolf added, etc.

Honestly I’m sick of Halo 3 content, Reach, 4, and H2A need new content far more than 3 does.

Of course it’d be great to see more for all the games, But Halo 3 still has a bunch of content that already exists.

Halo 3 has had far too much time in the spotlight content wise, give some of the other games some love and shelve Halo 3 for a bit.

The entire game has been shelved for a bit now…
But there’s existing content available for Halo 3 that can still be easily released while features are developed.

Like I said Halo 3 should stop being the focus. If ANYTHING 343 should be porting all of Halo 4’s armors over to Halo 2 Anniversary since both share the same engine.
