In all the vids Ive seen it in, the camera is always too shaky, blurry or just too pixilated for me to see anything. So, can some tell me what the heck the Boltshot does?

I’m pretty sure it acts like a Boltshot, but thats about all I know too.
It shoots a burst of flames. Think of it as a Mauler combined with the Flamethrower.
It’s a pistol, good as a mid-range secondary weapon. And you can charge it for a close range blast (like a shotty) that drains half a clip.
Think of it like a plasma pistol, but Promethean.
It has a single shot like the plasma pistol (pew, pew)
and it also has a charge shot which more or less acts like a mauler. It packs a very powerful punch.

It has a 10-shot magazine, and has a charge shot. The charge shot takes up 5 shots at a time. I’m not sure if the single fire or charge shot is the accurate shot, or the shotgun blast.
oh sweet, I just saw some footage, it’s like an an automatic pistol, but no headshot capability. I think I’ll use that in slayer, but in BTB, it’s All about the PP, baby. and I can select plasma 'nades and the resupply perk to have an infinite supply of harrasment!

Don’t think of it as a flamethrower. The shots looks just like normal shots. Not little balls of flame

Sounds like I have picked my secondary.
Well if the overcharge is shotgunish why does it seem to grow crossbow parts when charged? I guess it functions differently from our shotguns and the scattershot. Also how are the normal pew pew shots? Same damage as pp?
Is the charged shot a 1 shot kill in close quarters?
Its sort of a mix between the mauler and magnum. Where fired, it shots like the pistol, with precision(though with less damage I believe). However, it has a secondary type of fire where you charge it up, and it releases a short-ranged cone of massive damage(similar to the shotgun). It kills in about 2-3 times the shotgun, but the charged affect is fairly powerful in itself.

I “thought” I was killed by the gun twice in my first game on Haven.
I cant confirm this because I can’t watch the gameplay to see if I had taken a little bit of damage or not.
I’m pretty sure that I didn’t, but I can’t confirm that.

My guess would be to vent the heat charged by the weapon.
If you noticed my video about the Incineration Cannon after I shoot it a lot of vents open up and cool the weapon until I can fire again.
I don’t know the single shot damage. I never used it.
