Does anybody have the feeling that this seems like VIP but in Regicide? I just remembered VIP for some reason when I read about Team Regicide.

Sorry, it just really ticks me off when I see someone comparing the two like Team Regicide is a solution to the lack of VIP.
I have not played Halo 4 in a few days, but from the description, it sounds like the VIP can swap from player to player on the same team. Could use that to your advantage.

It shouldn’t even do that. Again, sorry, but I am blisteringly defensive about VIP. It was easily my favorite game mode in all of Halo. I miss it terribly :’(

Yeah, it reminds me of it, too. It’s like VIP but only one team has someone to protect.
At least that is how I assume it is going to work.
This actually seems like it’ll have great potential. People are going to hate on it because its regicide, but in all honesty it should promote some good strategies and team based play.
Though it isn’t exactly VIP its practically the same idea, the best player on your team is worth more than the rest, but in this game type people who aren’t the king are still valuable players. I for one think it’ll be quite interesting to see how teams play in this playlist.
