I’m am so freakin tired of people being pissed at 343 for “lame content” and crap like that. They are doing their best and frankly it could be a whole lot worse. be thankful for the fact we actually have regular free content updates and a group of people continuing to look at feedback to fix what needs to be fixed. It could be like CoD and have a season pass for all this extra content, but it isn’t. And if you are so annoyed at the content, stop playing a game you obviously don’t like and stop posting you complaints about online!

What? CoD has a ton of content in the base game. CoD isn’t releasing its gametypes later in a FREE UPDATE. Everything in the season pass actually is extra content, compared to us getting filler and a 1 bad map.
I stopped playing it and I don’t complain on the internet except for now. I swear, I am always wondering what or who exactly is making the decisions because instead of releasing content that many fans would like to have in order to have some more variation, they release REQ dumps. Yeah, ok, some people are into that. But not everyone is, and it would be nice if 343 also catered to those who would like to see gametypes introduced to previous games. They’re probably working hard, but if this is their best, then maybe someone else should be in charge of holding the Halo mantle, and if no one else will, then maybe Halo should be dropped altogether.

I have to agree, I’m not a big fan of CoD anymore but there is no denying that BO3 base game is filled with content when compared the launch state of Halo 5.
People are pissed bc Halo 5 is a shooter that sucks at shooting. The terrible aiming system (aim acceleration, etc) is well documentary and it ruins the game for many people. Hence why a lot of the community it left…
I still actively play halo 5, but at this point it’s almost out of spite then anything else.
This “free monthly DLC” is the biggest load of crap I’ve seen in a while. The DLC is BAD, and NOT substantial at all.
You can’t drip feed maps like this, and ONE MAP AT A TIME!?!?!??! REALLY?!
This game is absolutely content starved, there just isn’t enough maps and game modes, and the maps we DO have aren’t very good, which hurts the variety EVEN MORE.

If this is their best then I’d be seriously worried.
When you consider, that after all these free updates, we still have less gametypes and content than halo 3 or Halo Reach…or Halo 4 5 months after launch. It’s pathetic.
I dont care about reskins and remixes of content already in the game. I don’t care about REQs that are filler to begin with.
EA for example is doing far better updates for free to their games, need for speed for example receives massive updates for free every month, and none of that content is remix or reskinned. New cars, parts, features, races etc. WITHOUT ANY MICROTRANSCATIONS. And remember, this is EA.
343 on the other hand? Emblems, remixes, reskins, variants for already existing armours, a painted gravity hammer. One map. Oh and Microtransactions to ‘fund’ it. Right.

Pretty much spot on.
I want actual content, which adds to the longevity of the game. Not cosmetic garbage and reskinned assets.
I guess we’re being picky though?

COD have more content than Halo 5 will have at
this point.
Sorry but 343 did piss poor job when it comes to update. People have the right to complain since they payed 60 bucks for a lackluster content game.
I said it before, I’ll say it again: if there is so much criticism about the game, is it so hard to think that maybe the game has some issues?
I’m not picky, i just wish that they would stop wasting time making stupid skins and garbage armor and get crackin on that firefight and maybe some decent maps and game variants. My stupid French fry gun doesn’t make me enjoy the game anymore than usual. If they are doing their best they should watch the movie THE ROCK. Losers always whine about their best, winners get to go home and -Yoink- the prom queen.
I would trade all my skins and emblems etc. For a working ranking system and decent maps.

Funny because they are not doing their best. Bungie topped them with content and community based features with each new game. 343 cant even get an update out on time that has a decent amount of content to keep the population up and these so called updates are features that should have been in the game since its release. So dont give me that free DLC crap.

Yes, exactly this. The only reason they are doing these updates is to try to justify the Microtransations, justify the weak launch, and to try to keep the population and to get more req money by adding in filler REQs and one set of good armour everyone would want to pay for (Mark IV).
Nothing short of a lobotomy is going to stop people from complaining about video games, sadly.
All we can really do is keep playing and commenting on what they could do better (and there is stuff they could…at least they’re listening to THAT)

If the exact game was published by Bungie, people would not complain.
People just want to hate on 343 to hate when this is one of the best Halo games in the franchise
