I agree it is getting old. If you start the game and it loads without sync errors, give a couple of minutes for the reqs to load. They will load it just takes a couple of minutes. No need to restart the game.
Usually restarting the game fixes it but I agree this is a problem that some people suffer from that needs to be fixed. I haven’t had it happen to me for quite awhile but I can see how frustrating it can be, especially in Fire Fight.

Try waiting a few minutes after you load the game. Don’t start a match until you can view your req collection.
After you load the game, go to the REQ screen and wait until it load.
For me it takes up to 30secs mostly.
My problem is that after the match has ended, my REQs don’t update. I’d have to leave matchmaking back to the main menu in order for them to update.
It’s been 2 months like that… or more.

It’s a bit frustrating when you keep experiencing and reading about parts of the game that are just broken and have been for months. I don’t mean peoples’ opinions about sprint or certain power weapons. I mean game functions that just plain don’t work properly. And there’s a pretty good list. It’s understandable to me that people start to feel ignored and eventually resort to salty rants. I appreciate all the good people who try to be helpful and offer work arounds, but come on… If an automotive company sold cars where 25% of the gas gauges did not work there would be a recall. Suggesting people make note of fill ups and keep track of mileage on their own would not be acceptable. Or how about, “just rub all four tires in a counter clockwise direction before you start the car every time and the gauge will fire right up.” LOL That’s kind of how I feel these issues get addressed. I still play almost every day, so these are not deal breakers, yet, but my game time is always cut shorter than it would be when so much of it is spent on work arounds.

I was playing with my brother and we were in party chat when I was, for no seemingly good reason, kicked out. He asked where i was, then I noticed it. The hammer. I was on fire, too… So i just gave up. I’m tired of 343’s shenanigans.
Last night was my first night in a while for not seeing the REQ loading issue…yay…but I got disconnected multiple times mid-game or while launching into a match from the lobby…not yay. If it’s not one thing it’s another.

I usually just jump into forge, sometimes it clears up once the map loads up, if not, then I mess around with weapon combos for a minute and then check.

Exactly, can’t wait for crackdown 3…
What’s most annoying too is that it’s a server thing. If the servers are struggling, that’s it, it’s not a patchable thing.
In the future they need these features to be an offline infrastructure.
Although I do see the reasons as to why this is online, but still, I hope there’s a fix.
Happens about once a night, learned to live with it. 343i games come with bugs, its like living in New York apartments, you can’t do anything about it just keep paying the high fees for a nice view.

Curious for troubleshooting purposes only. You are wired? You do not experience a delay in req’s loading? Are you 100% or above 90% in req completion? I am wired with outstanding speeds according to XBL, but I experience the req loading delay.
Never mind, saw your other post were you acknowledge you are having the same issue and are wired.
It’s problematic for sure, although I think this would do best in the support section.
