Well now they made an alternate ending…
Here’s where they finally changed it:
How it really should have ended IMO…watch all of it, don’t just end when the fight is over.
EDIT: WOAH! You guys are sure passionate about this! I’ll go and change the poll then to who should have won in the first place.
Now that is more like it, Chief would always own Cap.
> Now that is more like it, Chief would always own Cap.
I agree with you here. The first ending didn’t even make any proper halo sense.
The rest of the battle is still the same…cringe worthy.
Honestly this video still hasn’t done either of the characters justice.
Yep, like John can’t hit a headshot any time he wants. Pffft.

I hated the whole beginning with the two sets of supposed fans. The Cap people clearly knew what they were talking about, but the gamer rooting for the Chief clearly had no knowledge of the expanded universe and lore. She knew the Chief from the games, and nothing else.
Anyway, I loved this ending, especially the T-bagging bit. Captain America is awesome, but he’s no Spartan. Cap can survive a fall from a few thousand feet. The Chief can survive a fall from space. There’s no contest, in my opinion.
Then again, the Chief is wearing Mjolnir. Who would love to see them battle with no armor, no weapon, just straight up fisticuffs? It might not be as epic, but it would certainly be more balanced.
Captain America, a super-soldier from 70 years in the past defeats an advanced Spartan-ll from 500 years in the future? Yep, that makes SO much sense. SARCASM
> Captain America, a super-soldier from 70 years in the past defeats an advanced Spartan-ll from 500 years in the future? That makes no sense what so ever.
They’re characters in two different universes. There is amazing technology in the Marvel Universe during earlier years.
In a hand-to-hand no equipment fight, I think Cap would win. Both Captain and Chief are super soldiers, but Captain America’s superhero serum placed his physical attributes to the very peak of human potential. Master Chief’s augmentations didn’t do that.
With Captain America’s signature shield, and Master Chief’s weaponry and MJOLNIR armor, this is where lines are blurred.

Either way, this ending is a lot better.
It’s not my intention to sound like a -Yoink!-, but I don’t think a lot of you know what you’re talking about. Captain America can perform the same feats that a Mjolnir-clad Master Chief can accomplish, such as running at speeds over 30 mph and lifting over half a ton. I recommend that you all read up on Cap’s abilities in the Marvel Database to get a general overview of what he is capable of. It would seem that he is on par with a fully armored Chief, if not slightly superior. I believe that a battle between the two could go a number of ways depending on several factors, but it is not so implausible that Cap could win like many of you are suggesting.

Dude, chief beat 3 ODSTs in a boxing ring when he was 17. 2 were killed and the third was paralyzed.
Yeah.
Cap would go down hard.
Honestly, a better matchup would have been Prophet vs Chief. But Chief would totally win. He didn’t get his but kicked by cyborg jellyfish.

facepalm Please look at my previous post.

Cap’s only human. He’s superhuman, yes, but chief is superhuman AND wears a suit of armor that increases his superhuman abilities by a lot. Also, jet packs, armor lock, holograms, etc.
Chief could beat cap up hard.

So I’m guessing you didn’t bother to read my previous post. Cap can perform the same feats that Chief, in his Mjolnir armor, can.
He can lift over half a ton.
He can run at speeds over 30mph
He can take blows from opponents with superhuman strength.
He can dodge bullets and “see faster” than they can move.
He can heal from a broken bone in minutes.
He can master new weapons and combat styles almost instantly.
Etc.
Haha I wasn’t expecting Chief to come back to perform…that final move. Lol Awesome!
Well it was nicer until he started t-bagging…
> Captain America, a super-soldier from 70 years in the past defeats an advanced Spartan-ll from 500 years in the future? Yep, that makes SO much sense. SARCASM
Exactly! A super soldier in hi tech armour with energy shields definitely can’t withstand a giant sized frisbee right! - SARCASM-
But even though adamantium and vibranium alloys are strong, the energy shield would definitely cut the damage.(which never even appeared)
Also…they used the Reach armour pieces for the mk V with a mk 6 helmet…

I do agree with some points here, but the main problem is how it can depend on which timeline or universe you are referring to.
Some versions of him can whip the chief, others would be pwned.
But on a side note his costume looks more like US Agent than his usual…
> Captain America, a super-soldier from 70 years in the past defeats an advanced Spartan-ll from 500 years in the future? Yep, that makes SO much sense.
If you do some research, you’ll see that it actually does makes a lot of sense. Cap can perform the same feats that an armored Master Chief can.

> But even though adamantium and vibranium alloys are strong, the energy shield would definitely cut the damage.(which never even appeared)
A single strike from Cap’s shield would completely drain John’s energy shields.
> I do agree with some points here, but the main problem is how it can depend on which timeline or universe you are referring to.
> Some versions of him can whip the chief, others would be pwned.
Yes, there are different universes and timelines, but the Earth-616 continuity is considered the “canon” universe, and that version of Captain America is equal, if not slightly superior, to a Mjolnir-clad John.
> So I’m guessing you didn’t bother to read my previous post. Cap can perform the same feats that Chief, in his Mjolnir armor, can.
It’s worth mentioning that I don’t think we know HOW exactly the MJOLNIR Mk VI is superior to the Mk V, aside from the faster shield regen and Biofoam injectors.

True, but at the same time, Cap’s limits have never really been directly defined either.
