Sometimes this game... is aggravating.

I am getting very aggravated of how this game is still unbalance. First the Battle Rifle is the “Jack of all trades” weapon in the game. The AR yet again is still not good to use but lore-wise it is the most robust weapon to use. The BR has a high bullet magnetism that makes it very less skill to use, I have told about how the BR in the forums on my rant that the BR is OP but players argue that it actually takes skill to use and the AR is good… You got to be kidding me. There is no way. The AR compared to the BR is the BR’s recoil is almost non-existence and the magnetism has a wide radius on the reticle as the reticle has a circle in the middle that if any target is in the circle the bullets will always hit and could also be used at close range compared to the AR which takes more skill to use at medium range and close range, the reticle on the AR may look like it’s wide enough but the magnetism on it doesn’t actually fit it, if you per say fire a 5 round burst at a target you would see a small dot that would appear in the middle of the reticle. That dot has to be on the target at all times for the assault rifle shots to actually have the magnetism effect to happen even at close range from 5-10m if the dot wasn’t on-point you would start missing shots which is vital to do enough damage to kill your target in time before he kills you. 343 Industries needs to balance these weapons They should make it have more recoil like in Halo 4 and have it’s magnetism adjusted or the assault rifle have lower recoil and higher magnetism radius from close to medium ranges. If you think the AR is good at close range play Halo 5 yourself and look for the Assault Rifle’s reticle and check for the dot and see if I’m right about that. Another thing is the sprint players keep saying it’s perfect, it’s not. The sprint mechanic was fine in Halo 4 on how the sprint speed was fine and how it’s balance on how you would get shot and slowed down. In (Lore-wise Spartans can sprint way faster compared to Halo 5 sprinting speeds)Halo 5 the sprint mechanic is not good they should just remove the sprint ability as sprinting would only increase your speed by 20%, you have the stopping power on it to stop you by gun fire while running and have the sprint ability reset the timer on your shields recharge if you where damage. At least increase the sprint speed to a reasonable speed or just remove the shield recharge timer reset and this will be balanced. I don’t why they had to lower the sprint speed but it was fine in the Halo 5 beta before. BTB maps or warzone maps need a higher sprint speed as there are very large areas to cross. From the game loading screens it said(paraphrase), “Gotta go fast - use sprint for the quickest way to run across long distances.” That is a lie to real gameplay. It you don’t agree with my argument try it yourself sprinting is almost useless it’s barley helpful. I hope 343 Industries will take note of this and fix it in some form of update.

The AR is good at close range, but it isn’t a jack of all trades. It’s the base weapon everyone spawns with, so obviously it isn’t going to be godly. You’re expected to pick up better weapons like the BR. However, if used correctly you can rack up kills with the AR. I easily prefer this assault rife over H3 & Reach. Halo 5 has done a spectacular job with weapon balancing because each is powerful in their own way. The storm rifle & suppressor actually get used now.

I don’t want to get into sprinting because I don’t know much about it. However, obviously if someone is sprinting they’re going to beat whoever is walking in a race.

You mean when you lose a legendary to a guy who’s been crouch camping near an armory? If that were to happen to me, I would be :frowning:
