How can i have 29 kills, when there was 28 kills with a tank, 5 kills with a magnum, 5 needler kills, 4 melee kills, and a grenade kill… wat.

Waypoint probably counted some tank assist as kills, putting it up as 28

NPC kills if anything.

I once earned a Legendary Takedown for reducing a Legendary Boss to half health, and then not even shooting at him for the next minute that it took to kill him.
An assist at the least I could understand, but the Legendary Takedown medal?

They changed how you get bosses in the last update, something to do with who ever did the most damage i believe, but not totally sure about that.

You only need to do 1% damage now to get a boss assist instead of 10%.
Edit: That is the only change I know of.

if you take 1% or more of a boss’ health and your team gets the kill, you’ll get the medal. Check the patch notes
