I have been an avid Halo player since Halo CE. I have competed in many tournaments, run events, and just overall been a enthusiast since I can remember. I,like many others ; play many shooting games, PC and console. Yet this game just doesnt seem to flow well.
So many things dont seem right. The scopes on the guns, game mechanics in general, the two maps to me are annoying.
The gun fights seem so generic. Most of the time I dont even understand how i got the kill. I shot someone in the knee cap, spammed someone in the foot and they die…? I watch replays and people aiming in the sky over their heads kill me with the SMG. I dont understand whats happening. This isnt fun. This is annoying. I feel like im playing a game that a company tried really hard to make it seem futuristic and hip. Its just not flowing properly, and im not sure if im the only person who feels this way.

Welcome to all FPS games, where you can shoot people in the knee and they die. I consider this game to flow immensely well. If you want to know how people kill you, it’s that the projectiles shot by the firearms like the SMG hit your character and do damage.

Really? I didnt know that from the dozens of FPS tournaments I have won in several different games. Please, elaborate…

Also yes this describes halo 5 perfectly. 343 is just trying to make something look cool without really putting any effort into the quality of the game
It’s much easier to advertise a games super hip aesthetics than quality gameplay in a 30 second commercial so guess which route 343 decided to take?

Even the maps are just weird to me.
To me, it feels like Halo, but I’m nowhere near as good in H5 as I have been previously.
