I think custom loadouts are amazing, now that I think of it.
However 343 should really really REALLY REALLY make a playlist (Classic) where there are no Loadouts or Perks. Or at least a gametype in normal Slayer people can vote on.
However with perks
1-Nothing that makes a player stronger
2-No extra damage
3-Faster speed or reload is fine.
4-Duel Wielding as a perk would be really neat
5-Further grenade tossing is a good idea
6-Less recoil on some guns
7-Faster boarding or the ability not to be stunned after boarding (awesome perk, Imagine being able to re-board like in halo 2)
With Loadouts
1-Nothing powerful. For example if this was Halo 3 :Battle Rifle, Assault RIfle, SMG, Carbine.
2-I’m not sure if I am for or against having to unlock guns to be used in Loadouts. Depends on how many guns there are.
I think we can agree that we don’t want any of them at all, and this should play like Halo 3 and 2 and not the bastardized son of the bastardized son of Halo (reach)

Then I’m sorry, but I’m very glad you don’t work for 343i.

Taking that post seriously.
Serious face: I’m actually glad that 343 apparently isn’t listening to the self-titled competitive players and making the whole of MMing one alternate version of MLG.
I don’t know why 343 thinks adding perks will be a good thing for Halo. Bungie thought that for Reach, and look at its population now compared to Halo3’s at the same point in its lifespan.
Perks are a stupid concept. Screw all these gimmicks and just give us a nice balanced Halo game.

Urk is on record saying that Reach has a better population retention rate than H3.
What ever pisses of the MLG crowd I will endorse. Also Halo is evolving and with that things change with adding new features and or changing existing ones. Let Halo 4 be the start of A NEW series and do not compare it to the older games. You should still be able to play classic game modes in the many playlists or older games. A new game deserves to be judged on how it plays rather than its name association.
