After reading this most recent update, I have to say I’m a little confused and disappointed, as well as a little excited. I know, to many emotions to handle at once. I finding hard to wrap my head around the fact that BS Angel tried to compare the God awful DMR to the BR in any way shape or form in reticule percentage. Not that the two don’t have their unappetizing similarities, (BR spread, DMR bloom) but it was a little disheartening to hear that 85% bloom was there “happy medium”. Although, my excitement was rejuvenated when I saw that there will be playlist with anywhere from 30-0% bloom! In no way to I hate the way Reach is now, it would just be nice to take a step back from some of the “new features” implemented in Reach. Don’t fix it if it ain’t broken 343…

I agree. This isn’t removing the randomness of bloom. Just reducing it.

Tell that to bungie; they started fixing what wasn’t broken.
Default Reach will still be there, so if you don’t wanna try new gametypes with the new custom options, or play the classic playlists, just play default Reach and be happy.
Us that hated it when Bungie “fixed” static rteticles, will be very happy with the TU.

It’ still better than 100% bloom ;). BTW you don’t have to play the awful playlists with bloom in it. I know I won’t. Hopefully they will “fix” Arena and MLG and make it melee bleedthrough, no AA’s and no Bloom.
