Something to afraid

I truly hope there is no Requisition in Halo Wars 2. It will ruin the Halo franchise as it inserts to every single Halo game.

There won’t be. RTS games can’t function at all when units and other features are locked behind a random reward system.

Well I think it could function if it was entirely based on skins and unit customization only. The moment that these reqs influence gameplay, we’ve got a problem.

The worse thing could be units become a single use REQ card.

That wouldn’t be possible. It would make the game completely unfair. Two people have full armies of marines, but one player had a bunch of ODST cards that he used. Wins that engagement. It doesnt reward strategy, it rewards having cards. Not to mention the sheer number of cards you would need for a single match, or what happens when you are out of cards. It won’t make it into the game outside of customization at the most.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they tried to squeeze it in, I mean look at Halo 5.

Creative Assembly knows better than to put REQs in HW2, that idea is cancerous in nature.
