So,i’ve put alot of thought into this, for those of us who played Halo 2 on xbox live,do you all remember the Y menu?Well,I know that the xbox dashboard now contains many features that the Y menu in Halo 2 introduced, but there is one feature which was left behind,a feature that I came to love and found very important. That feature is integrated clan support,it was so unique, and above all else,it would help the various clans out there thrive once more and bring that sort of extra special flavor back to Halo’s multiplayer.Clans that operate in and on more than just Halo could use the integrated clan support feature to easily establish a branch of their clan in Halo 4,as well as eliminate the hassle and need to take up space on your friends list just to keep track of an ever-growing population of members in your clan, being that all clan members would be listed in a cool little pop up menu in the game.Hey,Halo 3 let you push a button for friends, but why not bring back this awesome little tool from Halo 2?Maybe they could upgrade it by letting the founder or clan leaders create and establish a custom ranking system for their clan and make things really cool, but eitherway,it was so convenient to send the entire clan a message with the push of a button and set up events or meetings, stuff like that.I just think it would make Halo 4 that much more awesome and make a great deal of people happy that miss the Halo 2 days.Feel free to leave input and give your thoughts on this, just don’t flame please, thank you.
Such a feature was only added to Halo 2 because Microsoft supported it, other games on the Xbox Original could have used it but chose not to.
But as of now, the Xbox 360 does not have such a feature as Clan Support due to it being unpopular, heck on Halo 2 I used it as a second friends list.
