In the technical preview stream today, ske7ch warned people with Radeon graphics cards to ensure they have the latest drivers or they will incur a severe performance penalty. However, as a user of the R9 Fury Nano, I am really worried by this as AMD cut off driver support for this card (prematurely in my opinion) a month or two ago. This isn’t really 343’s fault or problem, it’s just really put me on edge about buying this game. Very frustrating considering that this graphics card performs as good or better than the newer RX 580, but it only has 4GB of VRAM which is another can of worms when it comes to running this game, we’ll see how that goes. I doubt there’s anything that can be done here as it really is just AMD’s bad driver support, but is anyone else in a similar situation with a Fury or 300 series Radeon card? I didn’t get let into the flight so maybe someone else stuck on old radeon drivers can share their experience.
They said they had better performance, so it doesn’t seem like it’s unplayable. You might want to check on upgrading at some point as that card was released in 2015.

Oh I am completely aware that i should upgrade. It’s just a question of if I am able to you know? especially when graphics cards are so expensive, I almost wouldn’t want to buy one because this is not a machine I want to feed with my wallet. Maybe performance will be good enough. I don’t mind only playing at 1080p with low settings in the campaign and maybe FSR will work well, I haven’t used it before. As long as performance is good enough.

I believe you’ll be able to play you just could have some frame drops or performance problems due to the graphic drivers. We won’t know until it’s in our hands though, but from what they said it sounded like it would still be doable.
I have a 2gb r7 370 (which runs pretty much all games nicely) and they recently cut off driver support for that too in the past 2 months, very aggrivating that i cant play only because the drivers required arent compatible
