Shield recharge sound, even reach had it 
The Halo 2 recharge sound is my favorite text message alert.
I somehow didnāt realize it was missing from Halo 4 until just nowā¦

Really? I swear the noise is still there, but maybe after so many years of Halo I just assume it would be there and not notice itā¦

Now that you mentioned it, I donāt even recall what the shield recharge sounds like in H4 or if there even is a sound for it. I still remember that from other Halo games, thoughā¦
Is it not there? I seriously canāt remember if itās in Halo 4 or not. Iām sure my mind could just fill in the gap with that awesome noise it used to make.
Found a gameplay on Youtube, listened to it.
Its been completely redone, very quiet and different.
That sound we used to love and know- its gone.

I noticed it too, but I donāt miss it too much because I play Reach. Itās one of the many things 343i messed up in Halo 4.
Itās like a high pitched beep as opposed to the older low pitched boop.
That made me laugh XD

Yes, because its these little details that can make a Halo game āfeelā like a Halo game.
Sure we can easily forget them, but we still love them.
There is a sound when you recharge but it isnt very loud and it just doesnt sound as awesome as in older halo games.
And as OP said it was even in Reach, allthough Reach wasnt bad eitherā¦

I loved each and everything about reach really, I didnāt mean for it to sound bad just when people say it was awful it still had core halo aspects, including the shield recharge sound.
