Thought I might share this now. It’s still being worked on, but soon enough I’ll have a complete armor set.

So far I have gloves with the armor plate, knee pads and now a helmet. Yes, it does light up.

People making these suites are awesome. I saw a lot of them at Halo Fest and man did i wish i had one!

Here’s it lit up, but without the black paint.
Also in progress is a sniper, DMR and a pistol is planned but I can’t decide if I want a plasma or magnum.

Yeah i the forum format is little different but that ok.
The helmet looks great and i love the Blue lights over the standard ones.
Do the magnum from Halo 1. It looks cooler then reaches. Halo Way Point already has their Kat/spartan costume carrying the reach pistol just as a heads up. <----to many halo events…O.o

Basically it’s foam floor mats, hot glue, a name brand foam modeling clay, lights and paint.
One thing I found though, Latex primer is a very useful thing. Sticky, but useful.
The interesting thing that I’m loving is the customization I can do 
There’s going to be some magnets in the armor and the guns so that I can do a game style switch out. I just pray I don’t get stuck on any metal surfaces though. That… could be awkward…
