So, I played the campaign and on the Composer Mission, the thruster pack saved my hide more time than I could count. It was a good distance boost to escape getting killed.
However, when I played Multiplayer, the thruster pack was a joke. It boosted my spartan maybe, what, 3, maybe 4 feet in distance. It was pathetic, not even worth using.
It brings me to the question as to why the thruster pack works great in campaign, but is worthless in multiplayer? I thought that the developers said that mechanics wouldnt change from campaign to multiplayer? If thats the case, then why is thruster pack useful in one, but a waste of programming space in the other?
Thruster pack needs to be fixed. Make it more effective in Multiplayer and give it some decent range. They say its supposed to be good for closing the gap between one and their target, when it reality it couldnt barely close the gap between a spartan’s hand and his… well, you know. Give the thruster packs some more umph, and less blah.
