I just got done playing The MCC and went 23 and 4 but the moment I try to do this in Halo 5 it doesn’t work out so well. For the life of me I can’t seem to get a kill and get assists left and right. If it isn’t kill stealing it’s the aiming problem. I know I have good aim because my MCC record shows it. So, why is it I can get 23 and 4 but Halo 5 struggle to get a kill? I already have the assistant commendation done which to me is bull -Yoink-. My friend is having the same problem as well as I.
Because Halo 5 is focused on competitive skill. Whilst 4 is more lax about it.
Because of the messed up aiming. Everyone says it’s because Halo 5 is 60fps but so is MCC. The aiming is all messed up. Not the aim assist or bullet magnetism, but the huge deadzones and inconsistent aim acceleration.
Doesn’t seem that way to me. People where playing competitively on MCC when I was playing it. I don’t know but something is up. I did notice that MCC has faster sensitivity than Halo 5. I keep my sensitivity the same across all Halo’s but the match I was in it turned a lot faster.

There are no deadzones. I play all the time and have not once found a deadzone. Idk what you all are complaining about.

Equal Starts = Competitive gaming.
Halo 4 never had equal starts. 5 does hence why it is a lot tougher to get kills and such. After playing the last few casual based Halos (Not saying casual is bad, I loved Halo 4 and Reach) I am getting used to it.

Why are you assuming MCC = Halo 4? He could be talking about Halo 2 or 3.

Here you go. Hopefully this will help. And for the record, equal starts having nothing to do with how you aim in a video game. That would be how the developer sets up how stick movements translate to movement in-game.

I only encounter dead zones when I am trying to barely move my aim cursor. It’s fine when you need to swipe it or move it a decent amount.
Also I don’t see any place where OP mentions he played halo 4, he just said MCC.

I know what deadzones are. They don’t exist in Halo 5 though. Stop complaining about your bad aiming. And going against somebody who can spawn in a shot gun or other OP weapon sure does, at least how long you are willing to sit around and keep shooting.

More knowledge for your eyes to enjoy. Every FPS has deadzones for fine aiming, otherwise your crosshairs would go all over the place.
And the OP isn’t talking about BR vs Shotgun or any kind of unbalanced duel. Read his original post again and come back with a rebuttal.

I don’t think I noticed dead zones in Halo 5, but 343i did mention something about the aim problem in Halo 5 and they are trying to fix it. It was on the November Sneak Peek Update.

Excuse me, but you appear to be arguing against something that isn’t being said. The OP is not talking solely about Halo 4, nor is he claiming that he can’t get kills because he does not have a Battle Rifle. He claims that something is wrong with the aiming system in Halo 5 and that MCC has faster maximum aiming speed.
