Say what you will about reach, when that game came out I was ADDICTED I played that game for about 2 years straight, was it perfect? No, but at least it didn’t have any rage-inducing problems. How many times have you gotten in a vehicle only to be EMP’d and die? Vehicle play is dead you can stick them twice and they blow up or EMP them then shoot the guy out. Was the plasma pistol in other Halo games? Yes, but you couldn’t spawn with it! Loadouts are the bigggest mistake in a Halo shooter, Halo use to be an Arena shooter where everyone spawned with an equal chance to win, but in Halo 4 where people spawn with Boltshots and DMRs that is slowly dissapearing.
Now I know that I should just “adapt” but when you see your favorite game series going down the tubes you start feeling like you should say something so 343 may see this and the hundreds of other posts like it and make Halo 5 a game we can all be proud of.
I haven’t stopped playing Halo 4 but the idea has crossed my mind, really the only thing keeping me right now is my friends and the achievements I have left, (stupid mantis stomps), It’s not all bad though, I still do enjoy the odd game of BTB (sorry Big Team Slayer). That brings me to another point what is with these rotational playlists? Are 343 so cheap they can’t put the money out to keep playlists in the game? Ok that’s it im done.
