So it seems that maybe the Domain could be calling out to Master Chief for some reason. However, the Domain was not created by the Forerunners, but rather the Precursors, originally named the Organon. The Organon/Domain is actually able to think for itself. Do you think its possible that the Domain/Organon is part of some Precursor plan? I know it’s a long shot, but do you think possibly a Precursor plan could be coming into play?

Could you explain me what is the difference between Ecumene and Prometheans? I mean, both are Forerunner and would fight together ?

The Domain is taking Cortana’s shape and voice to lure the Master Chief and make him release her. Then she’ll likely take over the Guardians and use them to wreck shop. It’ll be hard to communicate the Domain’s origins to the player, though, maybe through terminals?
The best thing ever would be if the Domain twist will be 343i’s way to reintroduce the Flood in a big way. That would make the Campaign a hundred times more awesome.

If I had to guess, I’d say that awakening the Guardians could be an effort to weaken the Humans and the Covenant in preparation for a full-on Flood assault. Seeing the UNSC Spirit of Fire come hurdling towards Sanghelios surrounded by that Flood fog would certainly spice the game up quite a bit.
