I know halo is not realistic but I’ve wondered this for a while:

how are the elites able to talk and they don’t have a tongue ?

I’ve read most of the Halo books and nowhere in there does it mention anything about they’re tongues. But in the books some of them had learned english so they clearly have some way of communicating whether that be a tongue or a different way of talking.
