Something I'd love to see properly redone in halo 4: filesharing

I loved the way Halo 3’s filesharing and videowatching with friends worked. It was something fun to do in lobbies before games, to see awesome art that people had captured in their own time with their own effort. Who can forget some of the pictures that spread around like wildfire?

Those are just a few, I’m sure you also remember the ‘Send to 50 friends to get Recon!’ and the many many others.

I would really like to see this system return in Halo 4. Halo Reach just didn’t do it right. The pictures took longer to load, got errors somtimes, People could take ownership of the file by renaming it(VERY VERY BAD), you couldn’t view them in a lobby (Which is the main way they spread!), you couldn’t get 3 of your friends with you and watch that awesome or fail clip!

Even if you can’t do the weekly thing where Bungie selected a group to put up the ‘highlights’ of the week for pictures, videos, maps, etc, I would just love to have the Halo 3 version of filesharing back?. I’m not alone in this, am I?

Yup 100% accurate there. I was just writing about that in one of my other posts actualy.

Yes, this is a major factor in the enjoyment of halo 3, you wern’t stuck to waiting for the game to start you had 100% enjoyment from going into a multiplayer lobby to leaving one instead of halo reach where you’d just be bored stiff.
People would rate each others file shares and check any funny pictures or clutch plays and this extended halo 3’s life.
You play a Mlg pro in matchmaking and beat them, you could take a screenshot and brag about it; I lost pretty much all my games against any pros ( Shockwave was far too good, literaly capped the flag 3 times in a minute )

Surely even more people agree with this, this is a major concern for me, I know some may think it’s petty but this was a huge part of Halo 3’s ecosystem.
