Is that I applaud 343 for hearing the community out even though some of the community refuses to acknowledge it. 343 has supported Halo 5 more post launch then I’ve seen them do for both MCC and Halo 4 put together. The fact that the next Halo could be an Xbox Play Anywhere title makes me overjoyed, because I’ve always wanted to play Halo again on the PC and Halo 5’s Forge being on PC along with custom games is huge for Halo and could potentially be a huge leap for Halo 5 in general.
And on that note, I know people are going to look at me as a shill or blind fanboy, or tell me to stop choking on 343s balls. So I’ll tell you this, I know the faults with Halo 5’s Campaign, I know what Halo 4’s faults and MCC’s faults were. Do I blame 343 for their misdoings, wholeheartedly. Did I drive my pocket knife through my Halo 4 Limited Edition case because of how much I hated Halo 4, I did. Did I trade in my Xbone and MCC because of how pissed off I was at the games broken state, I did. But as a fan of Halo, not just Bungie’s Halo games, not just 343’s Halo games, but Halo as a series and every game with it. I respect 343 for the support that they’ve had for Halo 5. Showing not only big support for the Warzone community with the various content updates as well as FireFight, but also supporting the Arena community, with for example, letting everyone scream out their lungs for Infection then dropping it on their heads as a content update as well as the recent addition of community doubles as well as the HCS and the WASP in Warzone and (hopefully BTB)
So as one of the few in the community who does appreciate the support 343 still shows for Halo 5. A thanks today goes out to the Devs, the community managers, and the Monitors for keeping Halo 5 going and more importantly, not giving up on Halo.
