343i, Please read.
Abilities. Yes this seems to be the hot topic that everyone is losing their minds about. We have people who agree and others who disagree. Personally, I do not mind some of the abilities. The only ability that makes me wanna punch someone in the face is the Ground and Pound.
Anyways I think the only way to make people happy is if you add set specific game types for matchmaking that disables the abilities completely. For customs, let us setup the game so we can have a choice if certain abilities will be active and some won’t. I think everyone will be happy. When I say everyone, I mean people who likes and dislike them. How disabling abilities work on these maps that seem to require them leaves me questioning my logic but hey, share your input.
Or we can see how well or not well they work in the beta and then make our choices accordingly. By all means allow us to turn on and off things in customs though.

OT: Personally, I’d prefer them not to be disabled in pretty much 95% of the game. Keep it consistent. In H2, were there playlists without DW? Without boarding? I suppose I’d be okay with there being one playlist, but I’d never play it.
