Something I noticed that's silly

If the forerunner robots can just melt people instantly with a big red lazor, like they did to the Elite, why don’t they just do that to Master Chief? Would he dodge it?

Because he isn’t an enemy to the Forerunners…

Atleast, that’s what I think.

Because

THEY ARE ATTACKING HIM THO or the robots are at least

> Because

I guess so lol

There’s no point to it. I’m fairly sure they need Chief for info, not to mention Cortana and her vast storage of information about pretty much everything, including the Halo rings hint hint.

And because if they just vaporized him the game would be over in a few seconds. That’s why.

Someone does say at the end of a trailer for halo 4, ‘i have long awaited this moment, savior’ or something on the lines of that.

I’m pretty sure that they used a Light Rifle on the Elite, so technically they are using it against the Chief. The difference is that Chief is covered in armor completely, while the Elites aren’t in Halo 4. I’m betting that because of the lack of armor the Forerunner weapons have more effect, plus Chief had already pretty much taken the Elite’s shields down.

well 1 because his shields arnt down and 2 because hes beast and what herder said

So why are they shooting him at all? Isn’t the rule that if you get killed by a forerunner gun you still melt? Just why don’t they use that instalazor they used on the elite. And I bet if you let the elite run at you without taking his shields down he still gets vaporized by instalazor

They need him alive, I guess.

Because it would be a pretty damn difficult game to complete if you get killed by one shot…

Game play > Logic

I don’t think that they used an Instalazor, but a Light Rifle, which is more powerful when zoomed in.

I’m not entirely sure, but don’t all enemies seen so far vaporise with the forerunner weapons when they die? Also, wasn’t the elite almost on no shields when it got disintegrated?

So he just got the last shot on him…

anyway, there’s no point getting hung up on it.

the person at the end of the trailer says ive long waited this day reclaimer (not saviour) is the diadact and he is a fourrunner who is in the books. the fourrunners had two factions 1 is for prevering life and the other one to weaponise and destory. and the diadact is is for preserving life ( i think could be for the other faction) but he and the liabarain were lovers ( thats in the terminals of annervery ). and all the new enemies are A.I. which also surgestes that its the rouqe fourrunner A.I. that “stole” 2 halo rings and i think that the diadact is controling the rogue A.I.

for all the info about the diadact read the books.

heres your answer

I thought it said “reclaimer”

players are only disintegrated in halo 4 when their shields are low…the elite in the video was an exception, because its kind of a cut scene.

player shot the elite a few times so it lost shields+it was prob on easy difficulty which means enemies die fastern

It’s ‘Reclaimer’, yes. It’s the Didact’s icon… but who knows whether or not he is himself…

As for the topic at hand… well, maybe the one-hit killatron has a cooldown time. Maybe the Knight fancied a bit of variation rather than using the same weapon twice.
