Around the 2:50 mark, you can see an older Lasky who is the Captain of the UNSC Infinity in Halo 4 and the main character in the web series. When you hear Cortana saying that message, it leads me to think that the UNSC Infinity received the beacon sent by Cortana at the end of Halo 3 and that is how he ended up where Chief was and then unexpectedly being sucked into Requiem. That is what I think happens. Agree?

i think he MIGHT be the officer that says “but what if hes right” in the cutscene, but we really dont know yet, only that he will be major in the story line, my theory is that he is the only one that believes chief about the ancient evil…
I think that after the e3 demo it was kinda obviously that Infinity picked up Cortanas beacon.
Im just happy the 343 paid attention to the fact that Cortana sent one. I don’t want the Infinity arriving at Requiem to be a huge -Yoink- coincidence.
