I know half of the planet is in darkness but from the wallpaper, it looks like the whole planet was made out of forerunner material. Discuss.

Maybe half of the planet is Forerunner material, and half is normal?

Sorry about the hyperlinks. I fudged up and don’t know how to fix them.

maybe it is inverted like the Halo rings. forerunner on the outside natural on the inside.

also, there’s no reason to assume the entire game takes place on the same planet.

I think that the portal thing on the Halo 4 teaser trailer is portal that leads to the Forerunner homeworld. ( The world you see on the art video)

Here’s the reason. Forerunners use the basic concept of a Dyson sphere. The inside of the planet is land and straight in the center is a small artificial star.

again… there’s no reason to assume the entire game takes place on the same planet.

This. I’m pretty sure it’s just a different planet. But I could definitely be wrong.

I was looking for a great Halo 4 wallpaper. Thanks for the link!

found out from the halo 4 panel that the whole entire planet is made up of forerunner technology
