Something Halo 4 should use and have! [read. Support]

Remember in Halo:CE when you couldn’t use the Plasma Sword, The Fuel Rod Gun or the Wraith? [anything else I miss?]. Well of course you do! [and the sentinel beam]

Yet remember hearing they would be useable in Halo 2. It was a pretty awesome feeling driving a wraith, slashing with the sword and blowing stuff up with a FRG.

Yet that feeling never game with the other Halo games. COUGHUNLESS THEY LET US USE THE PELICAN OR DROPSHIPSCOUGH. Yet a feeling that died. Everything was useable or used. It killed the element of desire and just wasn’t as good as what Halo 2 did.

I think in Halo 4 343i should have at least one vehicle we can’t drive, and a few weapons as well that aren’t useable. I’m not talking dozens of things should be blocked off but enough to put in Halo 5 to give us something to look forward to.

Marines. Allies. Marines. Allies. Ally ways

In Halo:CE the first few missions had marines. And most of those levels you got A LOT of marines. Who followed you for a damn long time. Then later in the game you are by yourself. It goes from nice, day time, havin allies to back against the wall by yourself strugglin.

In Halo 2 you have allies nearly every mission, yet less of them. They follow you to a degree but not as much as they should. Halo 3 does the same with less and less, Halo ODST does less and Reach you barely feel like you EVER have allies.

Halo 4 needs things like Halo:CE. Give us troops that will follow us for an entire mission. Give us a large amount of allies.

RANT TIME
Reach has big battles. But it’s lame -Yoink- YOU VS DA WORLD battles. That is not an epic battle. Halo Reach should have had dozens of Marines/ODST’s and You going against a large covenant force. Instead it’s you vs that large covenant force. Where is the battle? Where is the dozen+ enemies/allies on screen Halo Reach was supposed to have. We don’t want lone wolf action every dang mission. I wanted to fight with my ODST/Marine buddies a few levels. Jeez

Anyway, agree?

And here’s another “WTF” why does Halo 3 have bigger battles and maps then Reach?

Meh all this is making me realize how much more amazing Reach could have been. Games good but so many things it missed.

Like that 30-second tank run.

Yea -__-. The Gauess [spelling] and Scorpion times in Halo Reach are CRAP. It’s like “Hey shoot 3 things with the hog LOL” “Kill a few things with the tank ROFL”.

Meh. Why the hell does Reach have to have such great A.I and I love the sandbox, the enemies and such are great but so many things it missed. Could you imagine how great Halo 3 would be with more allies, Halo Reach A.I? It would be perfect.

Halo 4 needs some battles. Needs to take advantage of it’s vehicles and weapons!

The problem was that Reach wanted to have so many new things, but felt that old stuff needed to be implemented as well as while also “imitating” Halo CE somewhat.

-Old stuff:

Start mission with sniper
Be inside a Covenant ship
Feature a long driving section on the last mission
Tank run
Gauss run
Warthog run overall

to name a few

-New stuff:

Rocket Hog
Revenant
Falcon - We have an entire mission with this
Space Combat - Half a mission, almost
Urban Combat - Almost a whole map
Firefight sections on missions

to name a few

Most of these are things that can’t be mixed, or shouldn’t to make the mission consistent. There were too many new things that competed with older stuff, and all of it suffered. My guess is that Bungie experimented a little for their new IP.
