I noticed that too… I’m thinking its the Invasion like gametype that’s been hinted at by Frankie before. Thats the only gametype that could have a “cult” following.

Definately possible. I was thinking it would be either Grifball or MLG.
Definitely not anything revolving MLG or a hardcore gametype. Grifball, or Invasion, does seem more likely.

I don’t know about that. There’s nothing more stripped down than MLG. And Grifball is already pretty mainstream. Invasion is definately a possibility though.
I got the impression of a good classic…since they mentioned stripped down. Grifball doesn’t seem to follow that, but classic doesn’t seem to follow mainstream or mlg.
The fact that he says “in order to make it legit”, make it sound like a mode which isn’t that recognizable to other gaming communities. MLG or the gameplay which it provides definitely is. It might even be Infection.
Classic/MLG/Hardcore already is legit, so I have my doubts on that being the mode at hand. Just the vibe I got from his comment.

I just want a spectator mode, which is why I’m pushing the MLG idea lol.

Ah Multi-Team. My favorite gametype in reach. I just hope it makes a return in Halo 4. I would love to see people act like complete idiots again in multi-team. xD
I does sound like MLG… I’m a big MLG fan but I want everyone to be playing the same halo… Hopefully vanilla H4 works

Don’t get me wrong, I’d love for it to be revolve the hardcore aspect of Halo but the way he worded his comment makes me question that.
Stripped Down Experience leads me to think of two communities: Grifball and MLG. Both have cult like followings. It has to be either one of those two.
