See these? They’re images of my Halo Reach spartan. He’s wearing…

A sweet ODST helmet with a UA/CNM module. The visor at the moment is silver, although i’m trying to get the black one.

Both shoulders having the Recon piece.

The chest being Tactical/Patrol.

The wrist at the moment being the UA/Bracer although I’m trying to get the Tactical/UGPS.

The utility at the moment being UA/NxRA, but i’m trying to get the Tactical/Trauma Kit.

And the knee guards being Grenadier.

Of course to have it go all nicely together, the colors are maroon for the primary and steel for the secondary. Which are dark red and black respectively.

At the moment it’s incomplete, but my Spartan looks very sweet and i’m happy with the current set. A lot of hard work and effort went into unlocking the armor pieces and buying them with my in-game credits. Do you know how it felt? What it was? Special and rewarding. I was so happy when I got these. I felt progress. I feel so close to fully getting my dream Spartan armor. I didn’t pay real money to get a single piece. I worked for them. I put my heart and soul into this set. The images right there is how I want my Infinite Spartan to look like, but with the remaining armor pieces I want to get. How can I do that when the pieces are locked behind a pay wall? It’s just not right. Please do something about it, 343. Many of us want to earn Infinite’s armor pieces without having to waste a lot of dollars getting them. Please understand all of this. You have a great game in your hands. You just have to make the monetization better. Remove the battle pass or at least make the armors free while charging for challenge swaps and xp boosts. You also should remove some of the weird restrictions like the armor coatings and piece combinations. Have all pieces be compatible with every armor, and bring back normal color customization. Then everything will be smooth sailing from there.

Someone had to buy the game though even if was a gift, it wasn’t completely free.

I’m not entirely sure why Reach is the poster boy for Halo customisation. I thought it was kinda poor. I’m pretty sure within the next 12 months Halo Infinite will probably have more options, colour pallette aside. Even just considering there is gonna be 52 free weekly bits and whatever event items we get. Then the battle pass stuff. Legacy items. Promotional items, loads of places to get free stuff.

The main complaint I can see is the colour pallette stuff. They might as well let people have that basic colour swap and then let everyone who wants to use the coatings which in my opinion have significantly more personality than the old colour swap pallette.

Oh really? That’s nice.
