Something for matchmaking

I was playing a game the other day and this idea occurred to me…

All the player on the other team had left a part from this one guy, it was close to the beginning of the match so he was obviously not going to win (5v5 on Valhalla - reminiscing the good old times!) Since the game became 5v1, it became very slow, people started betraying, the guy was being spawn killed and basically the game was no fun.
There was maximum of 8 minutes left or up to 50 kills which wasn’t going to happen, it was tedious.
So I propose that if there is an option which comes up when you are the last person on your team left in the game that lets you ‘admit defeat’, matchmaking would be drastically improved. It would basically mean that people wouldn’t have to suffer due to their team leaving, it can be very frustrating knowing that you will either ruin your K/D staying with the game or leave: loosing EXP/Points or whatever (even risk being banned). People wouldn’t have to waste time on a game which had nothing going on, meaning they could move onto the next action packed game.
A situation like this is not very common, so people don’t really think about it much, but it still happens, however this solution seems like it would be a simple and effective answer.

What do you guys think?

Yeah I would like that, it could be an option all the time, but every person has to accept it in the team. And it would also be good to show it on your service record and/or you get a low amount of EXP or even no EXP at all.

It’s something that’s not been countered yet but they should really ought to.

Well, we have join-in progress now. I don’t really see when this could be used, but the idea isn’t bad. There’s just a different solution that’s all.

I thought join-in progress now was only for big team
