something cool 343 could do with the drop pods

ok so you get 1 ODST drop pod and when you get 1 in a pack you can choose where it drops.

so lets say you capture all 3 bases and you need to get there fast you choose the drop pod card and you overlook the map then you choose the spot then you drop in if you had enough REQ points so lets say 5 you can choose a weapon too if you have enough too and its not a cut scene you can actually look out of the pod like in halo 3 ODST.

then the latch pops off and there you go

just to make myself clear you don’t have to capture the 3 bases to use the card and it has to be single use like the weapons and vehicle so you cant spam it but if you have 10 cards and you have 5 REQ points go ahead and use them all in 1 match

Thoughts?

Yeah this is the biggest problem with the idea… snipers could just drop in places you are not meant to reach.

This would be a fantastic idea.

would love this and would have to be within a certain radius of a base or teammate to be fair.

I would like to be able to call in ODST’s. I think that would be a worthy REQ to have in FF.

I imagine that it would be pretty easy to limit where the pod is allowed to drop.
